Tasha Moffatt

BA(Hons) Early Childhood, CBTS and RAD RTS

Dance has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I started dancing at the school, previously Jeanette Hutchines School of Dance, when I was just four years old and immediately fell in love with it.

At 14, I began helping with classes before eventually teaching classes of my own. I later completed my Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) and my BA (Hons) Open degree, with a focus on early childhood, while continuing to teach at the school throughout my studies.

When Jeanette decided to retire, taking over the school felt like a natural next chapter. Having grown up here as both a student and a teacher, I wanted to continue the wonderful community she had created while bringing my own ideas and passion to its future. It is incredibly special to now be able to give new generations of students the same love of dance and sense of belonging that the school gave me.

Ailsa Cullen

BA (Hons) Ballet Education, LRAD, ARAD, RAD RTS, Pilates Certified

I grew up attending classes in this dance school, from the grades through to my Advanced 2 vocational exams. The school lead me to studying a BA in Ballet Education from the Royal Academy of Dance in London.

I now teach ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary, while using my Pilates certification to run a dedicated strengthening class.

I really enjoy teaching a mix of ages and styles because it keeps things creative and lets me blend technical discipline with high-energy movement, focusing on both physical conditioning and artistic growth for every dancer.
